I know it’s for young men ( and I love that, as a mom with a son) but there is a lot for young women to glean from this too.

Great list. Above all - avoid the trap of radicalism that your peers are falling into in large numbers. Communism and fascism were horrors of the 20th century that collectively led to the worst suffering in human history. Don't be complicit in bringing these ideas forward into the 21st because some clickbaiting edgelord on Tik-Tok makes his living talking you into it.

The system isn't working for you? Great. That's your cue to build something better. Something innovative. Something we've never seen before. People will try to sell you on the idea that recycling failed old philosophies in response to a broken system is edgy. But it isn't. It's lazy. You are capable of so much more. This is your time to shine and make your mark. Show us what you've got.

All of these, the principles underlying them, are all in Proverbs.

The silver lining in this cultural crisis we are facing right now is the resurgence of godly wisdom that is swelling up from the moral decay and the broken foundation its leaving behind.

The only thing I'd add to it is the intense need to cultivate a mindset of learning from misfortune rather than crying about it. At a much deeper level than just adapting to changes.

Active opposition against the victim mindset by accepting the idea that God allows pain and trials for our benefit, even the traumatic, is like a vaccine against the demonic belief that God owes you... much of our culture has absorbed that lesson and rejected him because of things that God intends for good, but they choose the devil's way through... that we know better than God.

Awesome.

Will aim to do the same.

Talents seem parts of Him.

Seeking entrance into the world.

So seems appropriate to offer them.

To the world, the best way one can.

Looking forward to your next one!

Seconded. The world is imperfect and unfair. Win anyway. Something that seems to differentiate happy winners from sad losers: the former can look at the world's wickedness and find a way around it. The latter takes on the harm from that wickedness as an identity, endlessly repeats every incarnation, and almost revels in the hardship. Sometimes they seem frustrated at people like Zuby for not noticing. They notice! We know. Poverty/sickness/violence/every flavor of bigotry... It doesn't minimize any of that to win anyway.

Absolutely. The world has never been 'fair' and never will be. So, we have to work with it (or not).

I am in my late 50’s. Great advice. My work expertise is not physical but mental. However within the past 5 years, I have discovered that I excel at home repair. It feels great to discover potential for physical accomplishment. At present, I am building a piece of necessary furniture.
